Weekly Update

With week one under our belts, we are feeling settled in our routine. I can tell everyone is feeling more comfortable with new classmates and a new classroom. I’ve had so much fun getting to know this sweet, creative, and lively bunch. An all school picnic today was the perfect way to end a fun week.

We’ve learned about a few special fourthie jobs this week! Each week, one fourthie from each class will begin the day by leading the pledge of allegiance to the lower school and raising the flag.

I will update this class blog each week with important reminders and curriculum updates. Another fourthie leadership role is carpool helper.  Click here to learn more and sign your daughter up. We will begin carpool helpers the week of September 11th.

 Reminders:

  • Swimming begins Tuesday! See details here. Please help your daughter remember to pack an extra morning snack for swimming days.
  • Our class chapel is soon! We invite you to join us on September 22nd! Chapel will take place in the Lower School Assembly Room at 8:15am.
  • I look forward to seeing you at Back to School Night this Thursday! See the schedule below:
